Ways to Give

Gifts to The Vista School
The Vista School®, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, welcomes contributions. While the government and private insurers reimburse Vista for most autism services, contributions are needed to enhance programs and facilities. We accept donations online. Alternatively, you may choose to complete the contribution form and mail it with your donation to:

The Vista School
Attn: Linda Whipple, Development Director
1021 Springboard Drive
Hershey, PA 17033

Commemorative and Memorial Gifts
Gifts to The Vista School can provide an enduring tribute to loved ones and friends. If you would like to donate “in honor of” or “in memory of,” please complete the contribution form and mail it with your donation to Linda Whipple, Development Director, The Vista School, at the address above.

Corporate Support
We are fortunate to have many charitably minded businesses in Central Pennsylvania. Through the Vista Walk for Education, our signature event, we have several exciting sponsorship opportunities available to support individuals with autism. Also, corporations and businesses may choose to sponsor their own fundraising events and designate all or a portion of the proceeds to The Vista School. If you are interested in planning a fundraising event, please contact Linda Whipple, Development Director, The Vista School, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or (717) 583-5102, ext. 2023

Matching Gifts
Does your company have a matching gifts program? A matching gift can double or even triple your own donation to The Vista School. Contact your employer’s human resources department to learn whether your company can match your own generous gift.

Planned Gifts
We will work with you to designate The Vista School in a bequest, charitable trust, life insurance policy, or gift of appreciated stock or property. If you are interesting in providing a planned gift, please contact Linda Whipple, Development Director, The Vista Foundation, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or (717) 583-5102, ext. 2023.

Gifts of Stock
If you are physically holding the stock certificate, either mail it to Charles Schwab with directions that it be transferred to “Central PA Autism Education and Resource Center DBA The Vista School” (Schwab account #6169-6761), or personally deliver the stock to a broker at the Schwab office nearest to you. (Please call 1-800-435-4000, the toll-free number for Charles Schwab & Company, Inc., to determine the Schwab office nearest to you.) In either case, the back of the stock certificate must be signed by you and must be accompanied by the notarized Third Party Release form. Do not endorse anything on the back of the certificate other than your name as it appears on the front. Your Schwab broker will complete the remainder of the information for you.

If you do not physically hold the stock certificate, and it is held by a brokerage firm (either Schwab or some other firm), the stock can be electronically sent to Schwab directly by using account #6169-6761 and The Vista School’s full name as provided above.

If your broker is Schwab, you will need a different form.

When stock is transferred to The Vista School, please complete and return the contribution form to Linda Whipple, Development Director, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to allow us to assign your gift properly.
