Imagine being told that your child may never talk, never say “please” and “thank you,” or “I love you.” Devastating, but parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) regularly hear this prediction.

The Vista School® brings hope of a different future to children and families living with autism in Central Pennsylvania. We invite you to join us in this mission. The Vista School is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

A Bold Beginning
When The Vista School® opened in 2002 as an Approved Private School licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, it was a dream-come-true for a small band of parents and professionals who had the courage to fight for major changes in state laws. With this license, and the Medical Assistance Partial Hospitalization License granted to The Vista Foundation in 2005 by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, children with autism in Central Pennsylvania finally were able to receive integrated special education and behavioral therapy services, regardless of their parents’ economic circumstances.

Today, The Vista School serves approximately 100 students from 3 to 21. In addition, through Vista Outreach Services, The Vista Foundation provides autism services to students in their home school districts.

Beyond Dreaming
While the majority of The Vista School’s operational costs are met through tuition and state Medicaid reimbursement for direct services, these funds cannot be used for capital improvements and other program enhancements. That’s why The Vista School relies on the generosity of donors like you who share our commitment to providing world-class services to children and their families living with autism.

For Vista’s 15th anniversary in 2017, please consider making a gift online or via our contribution form. to improve the lives of children and their families living with autism.  Gifts can be made as one-time contributions or can be paid over time as pledges. We also accept recurring gifts.

If you have any questions about gifts to The Vista School, please feel free to contact Devon Sprenkle, Director of Development, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or 717-583-5102, ext. 2047.

Thank you for daring to do more than dream!
