Non-Employment Opportunities

Vista provides opportunities to individuals working toward degrees and certifications in various fields to fulfill their student teaching or internship requirements.  College and graduate students in Applied Behavior Analysis, special education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other programs have satisfied their student teaching and internship requirements, and at the same time gained valuable experience working with children with autism in a well-designed ABA program.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  We continually seek to provide the highest level of care to our students in the safest and most welcoming environment possible.  Any individual who will be working directly with students is required to provide appropriate background checks, clearances, certifications, credentials and references.  To assure compliance with local, state and federal child safety, educational and behavioral regulations, Vista requires that these individuals provide valid (less than one year old) criminal background checks.  See the links below to the respective websites explaining the process for obtaining each of the requisite clearances.

Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background check
Department of Public Welfare “ChildLine” child abuse history clearance
Federal FBI fingerprint check

Thank you for your support of these important safeguards.
