Vista Yard Sale

We are pleased to announce the newly formed, staff-headed Vista Fundraising Committee has planned to undertake a multi-family yard sale as its first endeavor at The Vista School’s Cocoa Avenue facility on Saturday, August 20th. We are looking to family and friends for donations of gently used items and baked goods to be sold, and folding tables to be used on the day of the sale.
As many of you are aware, Vista is currently operating several important, but unfunded, special projects, such as a student-run Coffee House and Cafe. Because of the success of these programs, we formed a Fundraising Committee last month to help support Vista-enhanced programs in any way we can!
The new campus includes a full-sized gymnasium and aquatics center, but we do not currently have quality athletic and aquatic equipment to help our kids enjoy these wonderful amenities to their fullest. Therefore, the Fundraising Committee will direct the proceeds of the yard sale towards the purchase of athletic and aquatic equipment for our new campus. We are fortunate enough to have such a big, beautiful campus and we want to continue to promote physical fitness and enhance out programming by purchasing equipment to use in the new space.
We are looking for donations of the following items:
- Gently used items to be sold at the yard sale (Please have items to Vista by 8/12/11)
- Baked Goods (Please have items to Vista by 8/17/11)
- Drinks (Please have items to Vista by 8/17/11)
- Coffee (Please bring to Vista at 7:15am on 8/20/11)
- Tables (Please bring to Vista by 8/18/11)
- Your Time [7am-11am (set up crew) and/or 11am-3pm (tear down crew)]
