Special Education Teacher

This critical position provides coordination and supervision of special education services to the classroom.  Successful candidates will apply evidenced based methodology and intervention techniques while working as a key member of our multi-disciplinary teams throughout the School to successfully implement Individualized Education Programs (IEP’s) and behavior treatment plans.  The special education teacher assesses and reports student strengths and needs; develops and implements goals, objectives and lesson plans; collects and analyzes data; and reports progress quarterly.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Special Education Certification for the Commonwealth of PA required.  Master’s Degree in Special Education as well as knowledge of and/or experience in working with children with autism spectrum disorders within an applied behavior analytic framework preferred.
