Vista Golf Tournament to be held May 17, 2008

The third annual Vista Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Vista School PTO, will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Manada Golf Club near Grantville, PA.

Last year’s tournament yielded approximately $25,000, which has been used to fund items, events and activities for the students and staff of The Vista School which fall outside of the regular school budget.

Because of the success of the golf tournament, the Vista PTO has made a very deliberate decision to curtail other fundraising activities with the expectation that every family would participate in some way to support the 2008 Vista Golf Tournament.

Ways you can help include:

   *Securing golfers to play in the tournament.

   *Selling tickets for the raffle to be held on the day of the tournament. One need not be present to win.

   *Soliciting sponsors for the tournament.

   *Obtain donations of items for the raffle and for golfer gift packs.

   *Help on day of tournament—volunteers will be needed on site from 10am until 9pm.
